aquaticLIFE™ has unmatched abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance. Unlike commonly used epoxy paints that sit on top of the concrete, aquaticLIFE™ polyethylene coating is embedded into the concrete, providing superior adhesion that is highly resistant to chipping and peeling. Aquariums and marine life containers go through a lot of use and stress, and our flexible coating is made to adjust for these dynamic changes without disbonding from its tank wall substrate. Under ASTM testing methods, a 3000-hour test revealed no visual indication of color change or gloss loss from the damaging effects of UV exposure, with a bond strength greater than 850 PSI.
